Case Study: How Sweet Relief Helped Des Cope With Midge Season

Des has always been particularly sensitive to midges and their bites, with his resulting behaviour including itching, rubbing, and even chewing at his skin.

His owner, Bev, describes him as a "tasty boy" for midges, with his legs, tail, chest, neck and even under his forelock becoming a target.

The Challenge

Before discovering Biteback, Des required intensive management throughout midge season.

His front legs were particularly prone, often requiring protective dressings and fly boots to prevent further bites and the abrasions and minor wounds that followed.

"If I didn't have the photos to look back on, I wouldn't believe how awful it was for him and for me."

Finding a Solution
