A naturally occurring substance found in comfrey root. Associated with healthy tissue growth and repair. Present in all Sweet Relief creams and lotions, Flick 'n' Swish detangler and Flowers & Zinc powder.

A naturally derived ingredient made from finely milled oat kernels. Present in Fizzy Fillies, it is used for its soothing, moisturising and skin-protective properties, helping to calm irritation and support the skin barrier.

Occurs naturally in many plants. Used as a solvent for essential oils as well as an itch soother. Present in all Sweet Relief lotions and creams including the Silver products and Flick 'n' Swish detangler.

Prepared in laboratories from benzyl alcohol and benzoic acid, both naturally occurring organic substances. Used to create a creamy texture and as an emollient, as well as a barrier oil to midge bites. Present in all Sweet Relief creams and lotions including Silver products.

Essential oil derived from the plant. Present in Sweet Relief cream and lotions and Quick-Silver. Not present in Silver cream.

An ester created when oleic acid, a fatty acid abundant in plant oils such as olive, sunflower and rapeseed, reacts with butyl alcohol. This yields a clear, lightweight liquid that feels silky on skin and coat. Used in our Flick 'n' Swish conditioner.

A cross polymer emulsifier and thickener. Used in Sweet Relief Silver and Mudbar Plus.

Naturally occurring, used as a solvent and a pH balancer. Present in Sweatbuster.

A naturally occurring compound belonging to the alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) family, widely used in skincare for its exfoliating, pH-balancing and antioxidant properties. Present in our Fizzy Fillies wash tablets.

Lemon eucalyptus oil used as a natural repellent in Neem Repel Gel and Supernatural.

A natural deodorant made from yeast (Saccharomyces) ferment. Present in Sweet Relief Shampoo.

Hydrogenated vegetable oil. Used as a thickener in Sweet Relief Silver and Mudbar Plus.

Cetearyl alcohol and glyceryl monostearate — derived from plant oils and used to thicken and mix oils with water. Used in all hot-processed creams: Sweet Relief Cream, Sweet Sun Relief and Sweet Relief Silver.

Naturally occurring salt, used as a solvent, water softener and in feed supplements. Used in Sweatbuster.

A natural and traditional antiseptic, preservative and mineral supplement. Used in all Sweet Relief creams as well as Flowers & Zinc powder.

Produced as a by-product from various processes involving natural oils and used as a humectant and stabiliser. Used across all the Sweet Relief range — both lotions and creams — Sweet Sun Relief and all repellents.

A plant-derived ingredient used in Fizzy Fillies, primarily for its moisturising, conditioning and film-forming properties, helping to improve the appearance and feel of skin and hair.

A lab-prepared repellent that resembles the natural compound piperine, an essential oil in black pepper. Originally made for human use and extensively safety- and efficacy-tested on all skin types. It at least equals, and generally out-performs, DEET against midges, mosquitoes and other biting flies. Extremely safe when used as indicated, very gentle to the skin, non-sticky, with no irritating or sensitising potential, a minimal rate of absorption, and suitable around pets, pregnant women and young children. Unlike DEET, it has no adverse impact on plastics, synthetics, coatings or sealing materials — so it won't ruin your watch, your mobile or your tack. Excellent safety record, very low environmental impact and hypo-allergenic. Used in SuperFly, SuperFly Sensitive, Neem Supreme and Veto Mosquito repellents.

Naturally occurring in sea water, dissolved in alcohol and used as a preservative. Used in Sweet Relief Lotion and Cream.

A natural-based emulsifier. Used in Sweet Relief Silver and Mudbar Plus.

An essential oil with good repellent properties. Present in SuperFly, SuperFly Sensitive, Neem Supreme and Veto Mosquito.

A component of most essential oils. Present in all fragranced products.

A naturally occurring fragrance compound found in many essential oils, including lavender, coriander and rosemary. Present in Fizzy Fillies.

A highly refined mineral oil used for softening, lubricating and adding water retention. Used in Sweet Relief and Silver creams and lotions and Sweet Sun Relief.

An ultra-mild surfactant for cold-process products. Used in Sweet Relief Shampoo.

A natural alternative to talc, used as a moisture absorber within our Flowers & Zinc powder.

A highly refined starch for thickening solutions and emulsions. Present in Flick 'n' Swish and all repellents.

A natural-based film former that provides water resistance to formulations. Fully based on renewable resources and fully biodegradable. Used in Mudbar Plus.

A blend of natural waxes used in hot-process creams and lotions. Present in Sweet Relief Cream, Lotion and Silver cream.

A blend of vegetable oils used as an emulsifier in cold-process lotions such as repellents and Quick-Silver.
