Q: When should I use Sweet Relief Silver™ Cream rather than Sweet Relief® Cream?
A: Sweet Relief Silver™ is the mildest cream in the range and is suitable for use on stressed skin - including minor wounds, abrasions and rubbed patches. Sweet Relief® Cream is stronger and better suited to intact skin with more established itching or rubbing.
Q: How often should I apply Sweet Relief Silver™ Cream?
A: We recommend applying to target areas once or twice a day, gently massaging in with fingers.
Q: What if the target area is wet or moist?
A: If the skin is wet or moist, we recommend applying a drying powder first - such as our Flowers & Zinc - to absorb the moisture and help the cream adhere to the skin.
Q: How quickly will I see results?
A: With daily application, skin can look visibly transformed within 5–7 days.
Q: Can I use Sweet Relief Silver™ Cream on the face?
A: Yes - it is gentle enough for use on sensitive areas including the face, teats and sheath.
Q: Can I use Sweet Relief Silver™ Cream as a midge barrier?
A: On sensitive skin, yes, but most horses require a stronger product (green label Sweet Relief Cream or Lotion) on mane and tail.
Q: Is Sweet Relief Silver™ Cream safe for competition horses?
A: Yes - the product is FEI legal.
Q: Is Sweet Relief Silver™ Cream vegan and cruelty-free?
A: Yes - all Biteback products are plant-based, vegan, cruelty-free and environmentally kind.
Q: Does Sweet Relief Silver™ Cream contain any perfumes or parabens?
A: No - it contains no perfumes, parabens, silicones or other unnecessary ingredients, making it highly unlikely to cause an allergic reaction.
Q: Can I use Sweet Relief Silver™ Cream in the sun?
A: Avoid applying in the full heat of a summer's day as the cream contains some oils, so there is a small sunburn risk. Consider applying early or late in the day, or using Sweet Sun Relief cream instead.
