Biteback Sweet Relief Dog is a range of highly effective topical products for itchy dogs. The products are formulated from gentle ingredients that calm, soothe and help keep the skin healthy and hair growing normally.  They also forms a physical barrier to bites from fleas, mites and other external parasites.

Sweet Relief Cream™ is 50% stronger than Sweet Relief Lotion.  Its more concentrated formula means that it is very effective on paws, ears and anywhere that crusty dry patches appear.  The product is very safe and is a natural moisturiser but is best for intact skin.

Ingredients include: benzyl benzoate to strengthen and stabilise the skin's barrier function; glycerine to soften hard skin;  liquid paraffin to moisten; iodine as a trusted preservative; and bog myrtle oil for its aromatic, calming properties.  In our experience, only applications containing benzyl benzoate will work to keep the skin's natural barrier intact in dogs  — natural oils alone are insufficient

Stops dogs itching fast – whether it’s caused by mites, fleas, lice, dermatitis, eczema or moulting

  • Light, easily absorbed cream formulation is particularly good for paws, ears, faces, undercarriage, elbows and hot-spots
  • See a reduction in scratching behaviour in just a few days
  • Visible improvement within a week: gentle, non-steroid ingredients support the skin’s natural healing and hair regrowth
  • Safe for sensitive skin – no perfumes, parabens, silicones and leaves the skin’s natural barrier intact. Smells natural, not artificial
  • Non-toxic and non-tasty……dogs just don’t lick it off!
  • Used by dog owners for 15 years with highly successful outcomes

Sweet relief cream

"I bought this cream in desperation as my dog has been struggling with allergies and his skin had become so red, itchy and inflamed it was distressing him. The cream is definitely helping, it’s not a cure but the inflammation has reduced and he actually looks forward to putting the cream on."

Sweet Relief Cream for Itchy Skin in Dogs

"There is a smell to the cream but it is not as strong as the lotion formula. Wear gloves when applying. The lotion and the cream took the soreness out of our Bedlington Terrier’s skin massively. She’d been on Apoquel tablets but we decided to stop for a while. It took a few days before she stopped scratching and biting her paws but it’s stopped now. Skin is lovely. I don’t know if it’s just the lotion and cream as she has also started on a new tablet from the vets but she started those and the same day we noticed the scratching stopped ! So I think it’s possibly your products. Prefer the cream. Would recommend trying as you’re probably desperate like we were. Nothing to lose."

Early days!

"Been using this product for over a week. As my dog has a thick coat difficult to apply to the actual skin, jury is out as to how effective it's going to be. Skin still scaly, dry and itchy."

"This does seem I help my dog a little, but hopefully it will continue to improve her skin"

My last hope ..

"My rescue Labrador has always had sore paws caused by constant licking. We’ve been unable to find the cause. He’s been on antihistamines which made no difference. Constant licking … I was starting to think it was an anxiety issue. I’ve tried other advertised products but saw this online while searching and decided to give it a go (not too expensive if it didn’t work). After one application he has stopped licking. Only day two but still leaving his paws alone. I’m very happy (and if I’m honest I usually only review bad experiences) If I’m honest I can’t believe it. It may work not for everyone but Finn has certainly benefitted."

Biteback for itchy dogs

"Our mini dachshund has a grass allergy & despite many creams & expensive vet remedies, inc monthly injections @ £100 a shot, her skin was still itchy, dry & gradually turning black & thick in patches. I use Biteback Sweet Relief on my horse with great success & decided to try the cream for dogs. Within 2 weeks her skin was soft & supple & almost back to normal & she doesn’t lick it off as with other products. Welk worth a try & way cheaper than the vet."
